I'm seeing stars!

This Beautiful barn star I found at a yard sale for $2! That's right, $2! I was excited! But not as excited about this fabulous giveaway.
Nesting Place is hosting the best giveaway and I really hope I win!

This current barn star hangs from the post on my mailbox. It gives the mailman something nice to look at everyday-don't you think?

And this beauty I found at my local thrift store for $2! That is just a magic number for me, I tell you. (The barn star is currently hanging there b/c there are tornadois winds outside and I don't want it to get ruined-and yes that is a word) :-)
I was going to paint this black but when hubs put it on the wall to see how we liked it...I really liked it. It matched our door and (ahem... carpet) really well. So it will stay blue for now, until I decide it needs to be moved to a different area in the house, then who knows what color it could be.

I also found a perfect little black table for... you guessed it! $2!! I will show you that tomorrow. I have it on my porch with a cute little urn and some very appropriate pumpkins.

Philippians 4:6-7

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. (NLT)

6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (NIV)

This scripture keeps coming back to me over and over every time I think about the elections. Not that I am worried about it, because I keep my faith and trust in Christ. But I am very concerned about our country and the type of country my children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren will grow up in. But because of those worries, I am constantly in prayer for this nation. I not only am concerned for my children but for yours as well. I want to see a Holy nation rise up and Glorify Christ! It is so important that we set our heart on Christ and be steadfast in prayer for our nation. We must guard our hearts, mind, and eyes from the things that will try to stop us from seeking His face daily! We must rise up strong against the enemy! he would like nothing more than to see this nation in ruins. After all, we were in his charge before he fell. And because of that, there is a constant battle for our souls. We must be persistent in Prayer and Supplication-Petition for this country!
