I am on a fabric kick as of late. I created another type of flower that I don't think anyone else has made. At least, I haven't seen any online... They really are super simple!
{I am currently putting together a tutorial and will post here when it's done}
"Aren't I beautiful!" says the fabric peony.
I can be worn as a brooch or pinned to a headband, shoes, purse, dog, husband, you get the idea.
And for the rustic chic look, how cute am I on burlap! I love this, I'm dressed down but can still be worn with anything! Like when you're slinging horse poo. It's essential to be cute when slinging horse poo!
I have many layers! NOT like an onion, however, thankyouverymuch! Some are hidden from this view but I have 9 total.
I (spoken by human) just love it!
I am now going to make many more of these in several different colors. I'm thinkin Fall baby!

Ashley, I love it!! I love the blue..is it the same blue that you're wearing in your picture?
I love how versatile this is. Have you ever used these on a ribbon for wrapping packages? I think it would be pretty!!
Hope you're having a blessed day..and I hope you got some visitors yesterday.

Beautiful! I would like to know how it's made.
I'd love a tutorial! I've actually seen one similar but I'm not sure if it's the same technique as you used. You use a long strip of fabric with a cut every inch or so and then clip the corners to make it easier to get rounded petals. Then melt each petal individually, and coil the strip and stitch/glue in a flower shape.
Your flower has so many petals and is fluffier than the other one, so I'd love to know how you did it. It's beautiful--it really does look like a peony! I love that color of blue.
Most beautiful fabric flower I have ever seen! Would love to know how it's made. Just came across your blog and I love it!
