A few new things

As promised, there are a few new things in my Etsy shop.

I would love to get some feedback from you dear readers (yes this includes you dear Sis-in-Love)

So, please feel free to answer my questions honestly and truthfully. I will not be offended in any way. Promise! :-)

1. Do my things look like good quality?
2. Should I keep my shop open or wait till things improve?
3. Are the styles appealing/attractive?
4. Are my prices reasonable?
5. Would you like to see more items I make, or just cards?

If you would take the time to leave me a comment (whether you are a Chocoholic or not) I would so very much appreciate it!!! From the bottom of my heart appreciate it! :-)

So just take a quick peak at my Etsy shop and let me know. Thanks so much!!

Unplugged

Do you struggle with Priorities? Do you find that you are easily distracted by your computer, blackberry, t.v, etc?

Check out A Soft Place to Land. She did a series on her blog and part of it was about priorities. I fully admit, I sometimes struggle with this in my life. I love me some bloggy goodness. But when I am neglecting other things in my life, it's not so good.

Kimba at ASPTL has declared next Friday as "Unplug Day". Click on the button above and it will take you to her site. She will have a Mr. Linky to you can link up with your experience and the things you did while you were "unplugged".

Paper Craft Wednesday

*Don't forget to enter my recent giveaway! Ends Friday.*

Here are a few paper crafts I worked on this past week. The first is an altered journal I made for my swap partner on Swap-Bot.

The second is a plaque for my sons teacher's aide. Her last day is the 24th and his teacher is putting together a gift basket for things she will need when she has her own classroom. I hope she likes it. :)

This plaque started out like this (from the $$$ store):

I just covered it with scrapbooking paper, cut a template out of freezer paper, and painted the name on. I added a few flower embellies to help make it look pretty.

What do you think?

Card Making

*Don't forget to enter
my giveaway, ends today at noon*

I have been making a lot of paper crafts this past week. I know it's not Paper Craft Wednesday, but I will have plenty more to show you tomorrow. Today, I wanted to show you another Birthday card I made for another woman at church.

I love making cards. And I am in love with my newest design. I have made three cards using this style and everyone Loves them. Their first reaction is always "You made this?!" They then like it more. I love being able to Bless others with something so simple. It truly is the thought that counts! :-)

I was thinking of adding a few cards to my Etsy shop. What do you think? I would add this one, the other (which I forgot to take a picture of) and the Rooster card, along with others.

What's your opinion? Honesty here people, you will NOT hurt my feelings! :-) Thanks so much you wonderful Bloggy people. I can't wait to hear what you think.

I'm on the band wagon...

It's official, I am hurled myself into the Twilight band wagon. And I am NOT getting off!!! :-)

I can't believe I haven't read these books!!!!!!!!!

I read Twilight Friday night and am almost done reading New Moon (started that last night).

*Please do not spoil these books when leaving me a comment*

I am loving the story and I can't seem to read it fast enough. Now I can't wait to get my hands on the movie.

I especially love that this story is nothing crude or sexual in any extreme. I prefer to guard my eyes, mind and heart when taking anything in.

How many of you have been addicted?

Spring Frame

I have been itching to make a Spring/Easter craft this morning. So, instead of doing laundry, I made a spring themed frame.

I found the frame at the $$$ store yesterday, they only had one. I am going to check other stores and see if I can find any more. They are perfect to use. The window opening is 4x4.

I found some inspiration on Etsy this morning and the juices just started flowing. I love when that happens! :)

The paper is Amy Butler and Making Memories (garden party).
