NYC

Back in December I was blessed with a free trip to NYC for the weekend. My time there was awesome!

By about the 4th hour, I called my husband and told him I was ready to pack up and move. Seriously, I fell in love with the place.

I am a true city girl, but didn't realize it until I moved to Baltimore. I always thought I wanted to be surrounded by country, animals, and nothing.

I couldn't have been more wrong. I thrive in a city environment.

But, since we're not being called to NYC currently, I will continue to plan weekend trips for quick visits to one of my favorite places on earth.

A Glimpse

This gorgeous little red head keeps me on my toes these days.

She's full of wonder, adventure, and curiosity.

And her laugh lights up the room.

Soon she will be a big sister. And she will be perfect at it.

Mums, Pumpkins, Wreath & Pillows, Oh My!

A glimpse of my Fall porch. Pumpkins and mums are from my happy place, the Farmers Market.

Wreath and pillows are handmade by yours truly.

We just went apple/pumpkin picking this past Monday so I'll update later with my gorgeous pumpkin finds. Or rather, my hubbies, as he always hunts and finds the best ones for me.

It's how I know he loves me. :]

Black and White Photography

I've always loved it. I think it conveys so much emotion.

Here is a recent photo I converted. The before is straight from the camera with no touch ups.

I am in love with the after.

Which do you prefer? Color or B&W?

Birthday Cards

August is a very busy month for our family. Four birthdays, including mine. It seems this year was even busier, and so, I ran out of time to make 'different' cards. But I did manage to create them color specific. And they enjoyed them. This is a new favorite design for me and I see many more of these in my future. Maybe you will to?

What is your favorite card to receive, handmade or store bought? {I do love me some Papyrus}
